HOW EDITION WORKS
A PLATFORM SHAPED THROUGH SELECTION
In recent years, architecture has become increasingly shaped by systems of submission — awards, listings and recognition platforms driven by participation.
In this landscape, the role of selection has gradually diminished.
EDITION was created as a response.
Projects are not submitted. They are identified and carefully selected through a considered curatorial process, developed in collaboration with invited contributors.
Each selected project becomes part of a themed edition — a body of work defined by perspective rather than competition.
No entry fees. No jury rounds. No staged outcomes.
Each edition forms part of the EDITION Yearbook, and selected studios are invited to acquire a limited, hand-crafted object marking their inclusion.
THE EDITION PIECE
Each edition is accompanied by a small, hand-made object.
It is not a trophy, and it doesn’t try to be one. It exists simply as a physical mark of recognition something that can be held, kept, and revisited over time.
Made in limited numbers, each piece reflects the material language of the edition it belongs to.
Studios whose work is selected may choose to acquire it, as a reminder of their place within EDITION.
